We salute the six year old mare. who retired on 17 April 2013 leaving an extra ordinary record of 25 wins from 25 starts, including a record breaking 15 Australian Group 1 victories.
Black Caviar's feats have earned her a host of national and international honours. In 2011 and 2012 she was voted Australian Champion Sprinter and Australaian Horse of the  year and  in 2013 was included into the Australaian Racing Hall of Fame. In the international rankings she won the world champion Sprinter Award for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Her 25 consecutive wins constitute a world record for Horses at the modern age competing at the elite level.
