2010  PNC Australia Remembers - Lost Soldiers of Fromelles

This PNC Stamp & Coin features the famous ‘Cobbers’ statue sculpted by Australian artist Peter Corlett which stands, as a reminder to all, in the Australian Memorial Park in Fromelles, France. There is also a replica which stands at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne. On 19 July 2010 as part of the Australian Fromelles Project Group, a ceremony will be held in Fromelles, to finally lay to rest those courageous Australian soldiers who fought and died in the Battle of Fromelles.
