The coin's reverse depicts a color image of a thorny devil lizard in the drought-stricken desert with storm clouds gathering in the background. The design includes the inscription I LOVE A SUNBURNT COUNTRY…OF DROUGHTS AND FLOODING RAINS and The Perth Mint's P mint mark. This coin is issued as Australian  legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date, on the obverse. The coin is housed in a clear latex display case with a black frame, packaged within a beautifully illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
